I created the kinetic typography for one of my favorite songs, Brooklyn in the Summer by Aloe Blacc. I was really drawn to the simple typography and the warm color palette of the album cover, so I used it as the inspiration behind the animation of verses of the piece.
As the song is about Brooklyn in New York, I aimed to convey the setting of the song through the use of tall building imagery and warm summer night scenes.
